Coronation of Joseph

The ribbon at Joseph’s feet quotes the patriarch Joseph in Genesis 37:9, recounting another dream: Videbam … quasi Solem, Lunam et Stellas adorare me, “I saw the Sun, Moon and Stars paying me homage.” Below that is the exhortation to seek Joseph’s intercession: Ergo Regnantem flagitemus omnes: Adsit ut nobis, “Therefore let us all ask the one who reigns to be present to us.”
