Most Reverend Monsignor Vicar,
God knows with what sentiments my heart corresponds to the sentiments which you, Sir, expressed on behalf of the Chapter and the Seminary.1 To so many dear persons who already surround me with their affection I would offer each an affectionate word and make clear my desires and my prayers before the crib of the Child Jesus. You, Sir, can satisfy in part my desire by assuring everyone that in these holy days I offer them every best wish and that I hold them spiritually with me in the heart of the adorable Child. Holding you, most Rev. and dear Sir, especially in that divine heart, I am happy to profess myself to be
Most affectionately in the Lord,
Canon J. Marello
